About Me

šŸ‘‹šŸ» Hi, I’m Nathan, a UK-based technical professional with hands-on experience across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments. I work comfortably across platforms, tools, and workflows, supporting both development and operations teams with a practical, systems-focused approach.

My primary areas of focus include AI, Automation, Cloud Services, and System Administration. I use automation to improve efficiency, increase reliability, and streamline processes. I actively follow developments in generative AI and emerging LLM technologies, both frontier and open source, applying them with a practical mindset to enhance productivity and accelerate learning.

I am particularly comfortable working within Linux environments, primarily Fedora and Ubuntu, and enjoy operating at the command line. Exploring new CLI tools, refining workflows, and managing infrastructure through the terminal are areas I genuinely value, especially in the context of system administration and cloud-based services.

My cloud experience is centred on Microsoft Azure, the primary platform used within the organisations I have worked for. Through Azure, I have supported cloud-hosted infrastructure, identity management, and platform services that underpin modern application environments.

Knowledge management and documentation are central to how I work and learn. I place strong emphasis on clear, structured documentation, treating it as both a learning tool and a long-term reference. Whether documenting systems, processes, or experiments, I aim to produce resources that are practical, reusable, and valuable to others.
